TRAINING THE BRAIN
In the past, training the brain to react quickly had be overlooked. Through training athletes can gain more control over their nervous systems than people ever dreamed possible.
To accelerate speed to uncommon levels, tap into this kind of performance enhancing total body control.
Brain research and the practical playing experiences of elite athletes reveal a state of high artistic and sport performance. Many have described it as being in an effortless state called "the zone." Research reveals that the zone, also known as the flow state, is associated with lower heart and breathing rates coupled with brainwave frequencies of 8 to 14 hertz.
One of the most common faults of many athletes is trying too hard. Invariably, the harder you try, the tighter you get, which is opposite of what you want.
Training both sides of the body by developing skills near equal skill in both hands and feet appears to improve skill levels by producing higher levels of synchrony, or coordination, in the nervous system.
