This new standard has a completely redesigned clamping system and a handle added for ease of operation. The clamping system has been raised to be above the base pad protectors when in the lowest position. The tightening knob has been moved to the outside to make it more “official friendly”. The adjustable readout plate is designed to deflect polls away from the clamping bracket and minimize pole damage. The 5/16” thick thread plate is easily replaced if due to excessive use or over tightening, the threads are damaged. The 7141 features stiff uprights made of fluted aircraft quality aluminum. Multiple offset positions set at 12” increments. Dual mounting locations facilitate height adjustments from 5’-21’. Dual English/Metric scale is easy to read and calibrate. Base has adjustable level pads. IAAF certified. Also meets, USATF, NCAA, and High School specifications.
