The 732100 is designed for a single hammer or discus circle. When utilizing a discus circle, a Gill 362 Hammer Conversion Circle is to be used for hammer competition. The new narrow mouth layout takes into account the new 34.92 degree sector and greatly reduces the area outside the landing sector that an errant thrown discus can land in while not impeding a good throw. For new construction, the NCAA recommends a narrower cage mouth. The net is constructed of 320lb test, 42A knotless weather treated nylon. It is secured to the ground with flip arms at the front four poles and stakes in the back. This cage utilizes nine 4.25m tall rolled aluminum net poles.
