To Whom It May Concern -
Please inform your vaulters in the area that the Heartland Region Pole VAult
Championships will be held on July 14th, 2001 at the University of Akron.
The winner, provided they are a representative of the Heartland Region and
have cleared a minimum of 16' 8 1/2" this year, will be able to represent
the Region at the USATF National Pole Vault Development Championships in Old
Town, Clovis, CA.
The Championship event will be held from August 2-4, 2001. Championship
event schedule is a follows:
Aug. 2 Press Conferene 2:00-3:00pm
*Fishing Tournament 5:00-9:30pm
Aug. 3 Pole Vault Championships 5:30 - 9:30pm
Aug. 4 *Golf Tournament 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Awards B-B-Q 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
* Optional Events (but strongly encouraged to attend.
