Jumping 15' on a 14'3" pole holding one foot down is great
SO where are you holding?

IF holding 14' you could move to a 14'6" or 14'9” pole and receive the same efficiency with a higher jump.

It is important to bend properly the stiffest pole you can, for more storage of energy means potentially more available to the top of the vault.

We always recommend that vaulters move to a 10-15 lbs. stiffer pole before moving the grip up or to longer poles. Transferring this efficiency to longer poles smoothly will yield you a higher vault.
