Buying a pole shorter than 15'9" in carbon is a waste of money!
Carbon is a stiffener. It enables the manufacturer to use it instead of “S” glass or “E” glass. If it is used in smaller length poles the manufacturer will be suppressing the stiffness to get the pole to your weight and will be defeating the reason the carbon stiffener needed for. In some cases manufacturers may need to use “E’ glass combined with carbon to produce their lighter models which would cost them less.

There is no need to waste your money on a carbon poles unless you are on 15’9” or longer and it is used only to stiffen the pole, not to speed the timing up.
