FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS REGARDING TRANSMISSION:
- There are no KU or "backup" coordinates
- The show is NOT scrambled; it is "in the clear."
- You CANNOT view this from a home consumer small dish (e.g.,
DirectTV, ECHOSTAR, DISH NETWORK
- You must have a C Band downlink, steerable satellite dish to
view this program
Note: If an institution's head coach is unable to participate in the
live videoconference, the institution is required to have an assistant
coach participate.
* The videoconference also will be available to other conferences
and head coaches.
* Viewers may ask questions of the videoconference coordinator
(Greg Hull of M-F Athletic Company) by dialing in directly to the
clinic. (Telephone number listed above.)
* The videoconference will also be available in a view/listen-only
mode via the internet. More information will be forthcoming on this
option.
STUDENT-ATHLETE PARTICIPATION. Although the December 8 date is during
the approved practice time for the 2003-04 indoor track season, it will
be permissible for an institution's track coach and his/her
student-athlete(s) to view the videoconference together without
including such time as a "countable athletic-related activity" as long
as the student-athlete does not miss class to view the videoconference.
