For the first time a Pole Vaulter has been nominated for Athlete of the Year in Vallejo. Not only was Ryan a 15' Pole Vaulter but he was the a three year captain of the soccer team and the kick specialist on the football team. Ryan also was a 1200 SAT guy and in the top 3% of his class.
