Why not vault? That is what I try and figure out? Are there truly any reasons not to? Most people I talk to say they wouldn't trust a stick of fiber glass to launch them in the air. I figure why not? What other field events get as much popularity or any event for that matter? I mean people like it when they get to see young and old vaulters alike fly through the air on a pole. It gives you the sense of flying for a short period of time... and atime to defeat gravity for a few short seconds.... The reasons I am in track is because I want to vault, and I want to get better at my vault. That is about it... Granted I don't get much time to do my technique and such even though it is the only event I do. They still make me do the other work out. But every day I look forward to the next time I get to jump.
Vaulting is a extreme sport for the extreme crazy people that can handle it! Why not have a little fun in life? You only live it once and you midas well vault while your here!
