Ok these are my pet peeves:

Vaulters who do not know how high they hold!
Vaulters who do not know ho much they weigh!
Vaulters who do not know the length of their approach!
Vaulters who do not measure standards to insure accuracy. (Even before the meet)
YOU HAVE TO KNOW THESE THINGS IN ORDER TO VAULT SAFELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All standards are not built by engineers on a daily basis so we need to insure we are jumping the height we are jumping so we do not waste our jumps.

Labels can move from heat during storage and shipping, and people make mistakes in assembly, So you have to check the standards.

OK I am now off my SOAP BOX (grin)

Bruce Caldwell

Have fun, Be safe, and Vault High
