Yes, I did start it all when I came up with poles for both men and women. Well there was a need at that time and now times have changed.

If a womens pole is made like we made our womens poles the guys will jump higher in most cases.

We designed our womens pole to fit and work best with women. (Differrent pattern based on their lower center of gravity as apposed to a male frame)

Not a lighter flex or weighted pole.

Two things evolved within the past 5 years:
1. Women have gotten better and have been able to handle bigger poles using technique instead of high grips and squashing the pole.
2. Boys who accidentally used the womens poles jumped higher.

The solution to the problem was as follows:
*Make one pole to fit both guys and gals using the same pattern design to allow the guys to get back as well as the gals.
Got to give those boys at SPIRIT credit one pole for all sexes.
In the beginning gals needed their own pole now it is a fairy tell.
